Parents and Fans Entry Fees Options Explained
The HOST must choose between the "Per-person Gate Fee Program" option and the "Parents & Fans Gate Fee Program" option. This information will be posted in the
Manager's Tournament Information Package (MTIP).
For the Per-person Gate Fee Program option, the HOST can charge up to $4.00 for students (ages 6-18) and up to $6.00 for adults (ages 19 and above). There will
not be a charge for preschool age children (1-5). The Per-person Gate Fee Program is for the day, not per game.
If the HOST selects the Per-person Gate Fee Program, then the HOST must furnish badges for players, managers, coaches, and officials. This is not required for the
Parents & Fans Gate Fee Program option.
For the Parents & Fans Gate Fee Program option, the HOST can charge up to $500.00 (approved by Board on September 30, 2016) for the parents of the visiting team to pay at check-in (or before). This fee is
based on the attendance of a team with a normal complement of parents attending. Therefore it is possible that this fee could be reduced for a team under certain
circumstances, based on the decision of the Regional Commissioner.
The HOST cannot stack the gate fee options. A choice of one or the other is required.
